The Old Boys Network

January 10, 2011

Thanks to an anonymous tipster in-the-know who we’ll call ‘Jake’,  GayMafiaWatch has seen a list of the UK’s richest LGBT charities, the salaries of their directors and the various business interests they are connected to. This list was was left behind in a conference room following from a secret meeting of the directors of Britain’s most influential and well-funded Lesbian and Gay organisations.

This closed group meets regularly in London and is known in the sector as the ‘Chief Execs’ network. An invite-only ‘old boys club’ of around 25 mostly middle-class white gay businessmen, a bit like the Freemasons! (we are not saying they are of course) but there’s a whiff.

Subjects up for discussion include how to poach public sector contracts from failing local authorities, sharing information about their competitors with a view to de-stabilise them by infiltrating their boards of trustees and lodging numerous complaints to the charity commission and their funders.

If you’re a smaller LGBT voluntary organisation, struggling to survive in today’s economic hardship and wondering why all your funding, volunteers and ideas are being hovered up and where they are going – here’s a bit of a clue!

So when is a charity, not a charity?

“Any organisation registered as a charity with the Charity Commission that derives more than 10% of its income, or which receives more than £1 million, from the state. ” according to FakeCharities.org which lists several members of the Chief Executives old boys club including Stonewall as “Fake Charities“.

These organisations are particularly well-placed to take opportunistic advantage of the Conservative ideological nightmare that is “The Big Society”. Many of those behind these organisations (not all) happily stand idle whilst front-line services in the public sector are smashed with a political wrecking ball, ready to leech of the ruins to prop up their own privately-managed monopolies.

This is NOT the voluntary sector in action, this is not community empowerment – it is the PRIVATE sector, with all it’s might going in to full swing wearing new clothes. This is unaccountable, profit-driven privatisation of what was once charity.

Gay Mafia Watch is BACK!

gay mafia watch returns

Throughout 2010 we’ll be bringing you more scandals, truth seeking exposes, under-cover investigations and our regular brand of close-to-the-bone cheeky opinions plus secret filming and a few other new surprises.

You’ll either be begging for more or begging for us to stop!

Don’t listen to the rumours of our demise, they are lies! These fabricated stories are nothing but wishful thinking from those who we’ve been a right-royal pain in the behind to for over three years now.

Here’s a little taster of some our upcoming articles we’re working on over the next few months:

Gay Rumour Mill
When your main objective is to seek the truth, it’s a good idea to find out what the lies are too. Of course no good investigation can ignore the rumours that often give a story that little bit of edge, here on Gay Mafia Watch we only report about 10% of what we actually know. It takes a while for us to confirm the facts, and sometimes those facts are hard to prove – when we’re sure enough we’ll report what we’ve heard anyway but that’s why we’re starting a dedicated rumour mill section so we can seperate the facts from the fiction and we intend to have a  bit of light hearted, speculative fun in the process without upsetting too many people.

When the CEO went on a Hypnosis Course…
Why are the heads of Britain’s biggest, most influencial corporate gay charities and companies so eager to learn powers of subliminal persuasion? We investigate the unethical practice of using some very real, and potentially powerful “mind control” powers on the public which is becoming a bit of a trend. We will reveal the truth behind the cleverly designed Positive and Negative campaign which certain corrupt AIDS charities have taken inspiration from to deploy a rather clever magic trick in order to coherse the public into a heightened emotional state using flash-bulbs, pyrotechnics and mass-chanting and in turn more willing to hand over the cash to these barrons.

Those Gays after tomorrow…
Sooner or later (probably sooner) those head henchmen of Britain’s pink elite will start thinking about loading the yacht full of bolly and retiring to a quiet part of rural Ireland or for the more exciting sort who still want to let their hair down (since they still have some) somewhere in Marbella where the party people still get good pills. But who fills their boots? Here at Gay Mafia Watch we don’t just have a fondness for the deviations of certain white gay men in their 40s, we’ll be doing some  profiling of the younger members of our community already well on their way to becoming gay mafia barons (with a bond theme of course).

Whatever happened to…. Chris Morris
Some of our previous contributors are no longer with us, we reckon they’ve been paid off, bumped off or drugged and in most cases subjected to a technique called NLP – we’ll be exploring how this “Neuro Linguistic Programming” is currently being used by marketing companies to manipulate populations and we’ll be going into some detail about how the Gay Mafia are deploying it right under your noses for their own devious ends, or simply to shut you up when you ask too many questions without you even realising it.

Russia’s Gay Mafia Underworld
We’ve been soviet-side to meet some of the world’s most dangerous business people just in case you were under the illusion we’d already told you about them. Including tales from a new generation of monolithic Casinos employing pre-teen gay sex-slaves on the edge of the arctic circle, a counterfeit condom factory spinning out poor quality jonnies destined for the UK’s gay scene and the ex-pats on the run from British intellegence swigging whole tanker loads of vodka somewhere beneath the streets of St Petersbough.

You’ve Beanz Had!

July 6, 2008

Heard the one about the homophobic mayonnaise?

GayMafiaWatch feels duty-bound to inform the truth-hungry British Public of yet another questionable partnership and possible scam concerning the self-titled “leading gay rights group” Stonewall and a major multinational company.

You’ve got it hand it to Stonewall, they must have headhunted some of the best PR talent in Westminster to dream this one up. Our sources tell us that it’s been a busy week for Stonewall, the shady, corporate-run “gay-rights lobby group” who have spent all week issuing obscure press releases urging 3.6 million gay and lesbian people to boycott the entire Heinz product range because the famous baked bean manufacturer withdrew a television advert for mayonnaise featuring a gay couple even though Heinz still actually produced, filmed and paid thousands to be aired several times over before they took it off.

At the weekend, Stonewall’s appearance in this years London Gay Pride March (which also endured many embarrasing jeers and heckles from transgender rights activists opposed to Stonewall’s lack of inclusion) appears to have been supported by, if not financially sponsored by Heinz’s biggest global competitor – Premier Foods.

“Canned vegetables represent the largest sector of the UK canned foods market, with retail sales of £528m equating to a 26.5% share of the market in 2007.” “Branston’s arrival in the baked beans sector in November 2005 had a significant impact and spurred activity from Heinz, which traditionally dominates the sector. Premier Foods launched Branston baked beans claiming that, in comparison with Heinz, they contain 20% more tomatoes and were rated more highly in blind taste tests.” – ( Source: Financial Content – Market Data: Canned Foods )

Bouncing around the streets of London with their head-queen – Sir Ian McKellen with his Stonewall “staff” holding red and white signs scrawled with anti-Heinz slogans were a small group of their supporters dressed up ridiculously as tins of red and white Campbell’s Soup – owned by Premier Foods who just happen to be Stonewall Enemy of the week – Heinz’s fiercest rival.

Boycott one brand, sponsored by the other...

Boycott one brand, sponsored by the other...

From the people acting in the interests of the “Lesbian and Gay” community once again, is this tie-up with Premier Foods merely a coincidence? No chance, Stonewall have managed to invent a whole new, but repulsively separate system of partnership registration instead of pushing for what the large majority of other gay rights groups wanted – legal same sex marriage. Stonewall’s sponsors and board members are dominated by FTSE 100, or huge trans-global corporate multinationals and those who have connections to them. It is clearly a breach of conflict of interests by launching a campaign against one company and then appearing in public to then support the brands and products of it’s rival. Once again Stonewall’s been sleeping around for some spells to cast.

Let’s have a toast to Stonewall for this superbly played out publicity stunt. It looks like Sir Ian is up for another “Best Supporting Actor” nomination. Although who can say who’s “rings” he’s been “the lord of” to pull this one off.

We’ve lifted the lid and now the truth is “out of the can”.

We’ve “Beanz Had”!

Crumbling Foundation

GayMafiaWatch on the Lesbian and Gay Foundation (LGF)

There comes a time when gay charities get too big for the boots they’ve bought and need to make a decision, take the money, all of it and run or refuse it, share it and keep to their principles instead. Not so long ago in a town called Manchester one such group once called the Manchester Gay Switchboard got hitched to the Council and NHS run condom shop “Healthy Gay Manchester” and formed a love-child named the Lesbian and Gay Foundation (also known as the LGF). Now based at it’s enlarged towering headquarters (owned by a well known Glaswegian ex-gangster) several storeys above the rest of us on top of the former Hollywood Showbar on Princess Street, the LGF has been accused of throwing what’s left of it’s principles out of the proverbial window.

It becomes apparent after a few conversations with anyone you speak to at the LGF that they themselves as workers or volunteers are so very aware of any potential for criticism or public scrutiny. They become outrageously defensive and have a tendancy to over-justify every single piece of work to the latter degree as if there already is an ulterior motive or hidden agenda as yet undisclosed. It nearly always seems that is infact the case, and there is now a long and grubby history attributed to the LGF’s past conduct that has left it tarnished and un-trusted.

One major criticism of the charity is it’s failure to re-brand and readdress it’s title to include the Bisexual and Transgendered community. We’ve heard that the use of any umbrella term than LGB such as “queer” is a dirty deed within Princess House and as such it won’t be going down that road despite pressure from the community. The LGF seems strangely torn between using what have become exclusionary phrases “Lesbian and Gay” or “LGB” instead of the inclusive option of “LGBT” and has been accused of undermining and ignoring anything that does not directly concern Lesbians (gay women) or Gay Men. Stonewall also suffers this “problem with image”. It’s difficult to maintain contact with the public at large by using such politicised and volatile terms which could put the LGF’s funders and political supporters at some unease. So instead of upsetting the fat cats, the LGF has chosen to exclude and alienate a large part of the LGBT community in quite a significant way.

Former staff, volunteers and supporters claim the LGF suffers from so much critism and mistrust due to it’s devious-looking involvement with Manchester Pride, the city’s annual LGBT pride festival that has had a rather turbulent past itself (See the Manchester Pride Investigation for more details). Controversy surrounding the event and it’s meaning, organisation and unfair distribution of funds to smaller charities and groups gains momentum nearly every year, and now the organisers of the event have become increasingly smart of deflecting and deflating it’s critics. The LGF’s new found monopoly on “Regional Reporting” for the national gay media ensures that absolutely no negative press or criticism of Manchester Pride and it’s related projects ever reach the community at large. Both the regional correspondents for the Pink Paper are also senior members of staff at the LGF. They don’t do very much “regional reporting” and are clearly abusing their opportunity to selfishly prioritise promotion and publicity for their own projects and events instead of others in the region.

The biggest and most serious accusation (other than possibly being involved in charity fraud through it’s position in Manchester Pride) the LGF still faces is of being a bully and “swallowing up” smaller groups and services, as well as befriending newly established groups in need of resources (which the LGF then claims credit for their work at a later date) is one which it denies strongly but painfully as plenty of examples can be given to prove this is infact the case time and time again. Gaydio, Albert Kennedy Trust, Lesbian Community Project, Out and About, the Village Charity, Black LGBT Group, Peer Support Project, Manchester Switchboard are all organisations that have either been forced to shut, absorbed in the LGF’s sphere of influence or forced to minimise the amount of work they carry out due to the LGF’s attempts to subvert their funding streams and establish rival services.

It’s hard to understand why the organisation continues to absorb and prevent the work of so many established but poorly funded groups other than to grow and expand and justify it’s own questionable existence. This type of behaviour always has consequences and the community which the LGF claims it exists to support will quite rightly begin to question it. As a result, a lot of whistle-blowing is going on in Princess House – the LGF’s headquarters in Manchester’s Gay Village… Our Google Analytics page tells GayMafiaWatch that we’ve had many visits from within the building via the LGF’s own Intranet system.. We know you are out there! and if you’ve got something you need to get off your chest then drop us a line, otherwise… watch this space because we’re coming for you next….
